Well the Open is over, and what an awesome 5 weeks it has been. Not only the outstanding performances by all of our athletes but also the atmosphere from both athletes and supporters every Saturday. We have such an amazing community between West Auckland and Mt Eden, its something we should all be extremely proud of. So you’ve been training hard for the past how-ever many months for the Open, now what? People often find themselves in a bit of a rut after a ‘competitive season’. My advice, set yourself another goal, think about what you need to do to achieve it, write it down, look at it every day and work hard at it! Especially as the temperature starts to drop, motivation tends to follow suit.
