February Member of the Month

You may have seen our February member of the month smashing workouts at Metcon Madness a few weekends ago, she has just submitted an awesome time for the first workout for the CrossFit Open and we are lucky enough to see her pushing hard every day she comes into the gym! 
Kristy Jordan is one of our fabulous West Auckland members and congratulations on being our member of the month. Heres a little more below to get to know her: 

How long have you been CrossFitting and Why do you CrossFit?
I have been a member for about 2 years although a year of that my attendance has been pretty sporadic – A 3 month trip to Europe and full time study didn’t help!
I do CrossFit to challenge myself and keep fit.

What do you love about CrossFit/Health101?

I love the members and coaches at Health101 everyone is so genuinely kind, caring and overall awesome!

What’s your favourite movement?
My favourite movement: Deadlifts! LOVE them  

What’s your favourite workout? 
 I don’t have a favourite workout as such but anything with kettle bell swings and doubles under and ill be happy 

What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like CrossFit that were totally unexpected?
My mobility and posture has improved a lot, before I was doing CrossFit I didn’t realise I even had a problem.

What is something that we don’t know about you?
I did gymnastics when I was a kid through to intermediate, not that is shows now haha! I am actually super uncoordinated.
